Microsoft Released its Windows 8  to the retail market. Now everyone has access to what Windows 8 has to offer. Below is a brief overview of Windows 8.

Above is what you see once you logon to Windows 8. This is the start screen. This screen as able to be navigated with both your mouse, keyboard, and a touch interface making it cross platform through tablets etc. This screen is full customizable with many live updating tiles which show the latest information portraying to the subject of the tile. For example the weather tile will always be up-to-date.

You can also connect your favorite cloud services to your Microsoft account with services such as Hotmail, SkyDrive, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. And you can immediately get to your photos, docs, and other files no matter what service they are stored. This makes moving between PC’s a breeze.

Windows 8 has touch in mind with easy to use controls. An example of this is the Charms feature. The charms are the quickest way to navigate to key tasks in Windows 8. You can go to the Start screen, or use the charms for quick shortcuts to common tasks.
