Sara’s creator Nobita has done it again with a Sara Server for Spire. Spire is a legal tweak that allows you to install siri on your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G/4G, and iPad first generation. The tweak was made by Chpwn and Ryan Petrich to bring the Siri UI to these iOS 5 Devices. The tweak is in Cydia on the Big Boss Repo but theres one thing… The tweak requires a proxy server or an certificate from an iPhone 4S to give you a response. So in these next few steps I will show how to use the functionality of Sara (by Nobita) on Spire.
First install Spire on Cydia
Next go to Settings>General>Siri and set it to on. After that, go to Spire on the main settings page and enter ‘https://isoftjsc.com’
Now go to ‘http :// isoftjsc.com/spire.pem’ and trust it. And there you go now open up Siri by holding the home button and say a command. You should now get a reply! Remember that this is using Sara’s commands not Siri’s commands and also if you want the Siri Commands there are other “real” Siri servers such as http://i4siri.com/ . Below is a changelog of the Server Commands.
– Sara chat
– Wolfram Alpha
– Alarm (eg. wake me up at 9 am …)
– Note (eg. Note I love you)
– Call contacts
– Search (eg. Search Spiderman, Bing Apple,…)
– Current Location (eg. I’m lost, Where am I)
– Facebook / Twitter
– Local business search
