After months and tons of speculation and rumors, Samsung has finally announced its new Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone. We know finally know some of the rumors that were true and which were completely bogus. Even though this post was hard to make, we have came up with the Top 5 best, or most anticipated features of the new phone. Keep in mind this is all opinionated and you may not feel the same way with our list.

1. Quad – Core Processor

The performance of a Quad core processor is just absolutely amazing! If any of you have used a Galaxy S II you already know that the phone was pretty fast. For its successor to be even faster its just unbelievable. The chip will also make 4G speeds faster. Samsung says the chip is already prepared for 3D games and video editing, but will use 20% less than its predecessor.

2. HD 4.8-inch AMOLED Display

The Super AMOLED displays in the past have been truly mind blowing. The colors are usually beautiful and bring the activity on the phone to life. However, its tough to see how it will compare to the new HTC One X, but it  is sure to give it a run for its money. We can conclude though that u perhaps may get inker blacks then the HTC.

3. Intelligent Camera with Face Recognition

This is an absolute killer feature. Samsung has made face recognition a way to unlock your phone now instead of the traditional pattern. In addition, the phone now knows when you are using it. If you are reading an article or browsing the web it knows based on your face in front of the phone that you are using it and will not power down. It will keep your phone activated. Samsung calls this its new “Natural Interaction” technology and we can not wait to test it out.

4. S Voice

Personally I am not a huge fan of S voice, but it still is a pretty cool feature even if it is a rip off of Apple’s Siri. It does basically the same thing as Siri. It can control music, audio, send a text, and Samsung gave the example of using it to turn off your alarm by saying “snooze”.

5. 4G LTE

4G LTE is not exactly one of the more premium features, but you can’t but help to put it in the list because everything that involves 4G is always so hyped up. On the Galaxy S III though we have a feeling that 4G LTE will be stellar mainly from the quad-core processor. It is unsure what the U.S. carriers will do about the processor and if AT&T will opt out like they did with the HTC One X’s Tegra 3 chip. However, regardless blazing fast data speeds seem to be in store for consumers.

Unfortunately we could not fit all of the great features the Galaxy S III brings to the table, but this is quite the phone to beat. Samsung did a good job.
