Microsoft is inviting San Francisco and New York press to a conference on October 3, 2011 involving Hotmail.
The email reads: “We listened. We learned. We reinvented Hotmail from the ground up, from performance to spam to security and more, we’re going to challenge your perceptions and show how we stack up against the competition.”
There are no other clues as to what Microsoft has in their heads at this moment but I can say, as a previous Hotmail user, Microsoft needs to get with the Program. Everything in my Hotmail is cluttered and its just frustrating to check.
Perhaps Microsoft is planning to give an HTML5 update to their very old email service. Until then I will stay a Gmail user. If you are a Hotmail user, you know how frustrating sorting through everything can get.
I bid you farewell until next time I shall post. -Charles
