NOTE: CURRENTLY I’M NOT SURE WHAT PROVIDERS ARE EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH BLACKBERRY DEVICES OTHER THAN SPRINT.

RIM, or Research in Motion, the company that produces the Blackberry OS and Blackberry device line-up, has been asked by mobile carrier Sprint to fix the ongoing issues with the Blackberry outage problem world-wide. Problems users are encountering include poor Internet access, struggling to send and receive emails and texts, and using the BlackBerry Messenger application.

This hit to the Blackberry name may also be ever-lasting. In 2007 Blackberry’s we’re the most popular phone in America, but they have since been knocked off the throne by Android and “budget-Droids”, as well as the iPhone 3, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

In an age where we have more powerful smart phones than the Blackberry, users begin switching. Another factor that gives RIM the aches and woes is the fact that 1 million iPhone 4S models we’re sold on the first day. With the ever-declining Blackberry demand, what will RIM do? I know for a fact that many users have already made effort to switch to the iPhone. More on this story will come as the problems continue.

I would also lack to apologize for the lack of posts, as I have been very busy with schoolwork and my own website. Thanks, Charles.
